CONTEMPORARY DOORS
Contemporary doors are normally found on more modern properties. At times a customer is adding an extension to their property and they are looking for a complete contrast.
All contemporary doors are hard crafted from solid English Oak that has been air dried over several years. This slow process cures the wood to make it extremely strong and durable from the weather. Some customers prefer a more personal touch and supply oak from their own grounds and ask us to make a door for them.
We carry out a home visit to all our customers to measure up and find out exactly what style and finish they would like. All doors meet strict UK thermal and acoustic regulations and come with modern locks.

Replace 3 Doors on a Farm in Halifax
We were asked to replace 3 1970’s style doors on a hill top farm in Halifax. The doors are very unique in that they are known as framed ledged doors.
2 Converted Stable Doors in Coventry
We were asked to replace 2 doors on a converted stable in Coventry and to create a Tudor frame to give that authentic traditional look and feel.
Cross Boarded Door in Halifax
We were asked to replace a pair 1970’s soft wood doors with a traditional cross boarded boarded door which is what would have been there originally.
